The Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) is a national sports organization established in June 1956. Its English name is "Chinese Basketball Association," and its abbreviation is "CBA." The CBA is a non-profit mass sports organization formed nationwide. It is a member organization of the General Administration of Sports of the People's Republic of China and is recognized as the sole legitimate organization for the Olympic Games by the Chinese Olympic Committee. The CBA represents China in the International Basketball Federation and the Asian Basketball Union.
