中国环境保护产业协会简介

 The China Environmental Protection Industry Association (CAEPI) was established in 1984 and is a non-profit professional industry organization composed of enterprises, service providers, researchers, and managers engaged in ecological protection-related activities in China. It is a registered non-profit social organization under the民政部, with a legal status of a public benefit corporation, and subject to the business guidance and supervision of the Ministry of Environment and the Ministry of Civil Affairs. The CAEPI's main functions include: establishing an industry self-discipline mechanism, protecting the interests of the industry and the rights and interests of members, promptly reflecting industry demands to government agencies, promoting honest business practices, and constructing a good credit environment; conducting industry credit and capability evaluation, promoting corporate integrity, and building a sound credit environment; participating in the formulation of ecological protection laws, regulations, development plans, economic policies, and technical policies; conducting industry research, statistics, and collection and analysis to provide support for government decision-making and service to enterprise decision-making; accepting government assignments, conducting research, development, and standardization work on industry-related standards, and publishing and issuing industry standards; promoting environmental advanced technology application, demonstration, and consulting services; engaging in domestic and international industry exchanges and cooperation; organizing industry training, exhibitions, displays, and conferences; and establishing an industry information platform, publishing and printing industry journals and materials, and providing industry policy, technology, market, and financing information services to enterprises.
